St. Nersess Online
St. Nersess Online is an extension of St. Nersess Armenian Seminary. Our first offering, the St. Nersess Preaching Program, includes a non-degree certification available to all Clergy of the Eastern and Western Dioceses of the Armenian Church of North America.
During the development phase, the seminars and workshops that comprise this program are taking place in person. Recordings and assignments are uploaded to this website at the end of each training; fresh materials are gradually uploaded for our clergy to use for free. By 2028, all materials will be accessible online, as a fully formed virtual certification course for which a fee will be charged.
Why St. Nersess Online?
St. Nersess Armenian Seminary has long dreamed of extending its reach beyond our campus. St. Nersess Online allows us to offer learning opportunities to a wider audience, on more topics and in more formats than the seminary can possibly create in person.
The St. Nersess Preaching Program is the first of several we hope to launch over the next months and years. In our opinion, educated clergy and laypeople are the best ministry resource the Church can. With St. Nersess Online, we actively seek to make Armenian Christian learning widely accessible.
More on our Preaching Program
Our Preaching Program offers Armenian clergy of the Eastern and Western Dioceses of America the opportunity to receive intensive, one-on-one feedback in a seminar or workshop setting. This gives our clergy the chance to hone their preparation and preaching skills in order to nourish themselves spiritually and to deliver a meaningful spiritual experience to their parishioners. Clergy may participate at their own speed or follow the five-year certification schedule if they prefer.
